Internal Revenue Code.
Your donations to OASIS are tax
deductible.
If you donate to us,
you can know with certainty that your gift will go to food
and medical care for our dogs as they await their adoptions.

Ok, I've read
the OASIS info and am comparing it to other
shelters.
Why should I donate to OASIS?
Because OASIS is a
well-established and respected shelter that returns
100% of its donations into animal welfare work. None
of our staff is paid; all of our funds are used
directly for the dogs. We're small, but mighty. We
understand the value of a dollar, spend wisely, grow
slowly and always keep our eye on our mission to
help the animals. Period. Thus you can have
confidence in how your funds are used, spent and
cherished. We do not take any of that for granted.
Employer matched
donations:
Some employers match donations to charity. If
your employer is one, let us know how we can earn
those funds, too. Send the form(s) to us and we'll
gladly complete and submit accordingly. In addition,
if you give to the United Way and would like to
direct your United Way contributions to OASIS, just
write in OASIS' name and address on your pledge
form. United Way then directs your funds to us on a
monthly basis. It's that easy.
Donations given in
honor or memory of another human or pet:
Many have honored a loved one (human or other)
by a gift to OASIS in the loved-one's name. OASIS is
touched by these acts of kindness and will happily
send a personal note of acknowledgement to those
whom you request. Is there a birthday, anniversary
or holiday in the future?
In addition, many
send memorial gifts of the passing of a family
member and/or pet. OASIS understands the pain such a
loss can cause and always sends a note of this
expression to the family of the one remembered. If
you would like to contribute to our Shelter in the
honor or memory of another, please include contact
information with your gift. We thank you and respect
your wishes.
Lasting
impressions:
Will you consider putting OASIS in your Will?
Such a bequest means more unwanted dogs could be
rescued and given a second chance. The gift helps
ensure that your interest in animal welfare work
continues on. When preparing a bequest, the
following language may be helpful:
